Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to be part of major events in my city where I gained valuable experience working with large scale events, thinking on my feet, creating content that speaks to national conversations.
SUPER BOWL LV
In 2021, the City of Tampa hosted Super Bowl LV and made sports history when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers became the first team to win the super bowl in their own hometown.
As a Communications Strategist for the City of Tampa, I had a chance to work with the Tampa Bay LV host committee, the NFL and local, regional and national partners. I also developed a comprehensive social media strategy for Super Bowl LV that included sharing User Generated Content of the Super Bowl Experience, creating a #BucsSpiritWeek challenge, highlighting local businesses, sharing event details and more.
GASPARILLA
Gasparilla is an annual pirate festival and beloved Tampa tradition. Year after year, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph and film this exciting celebration for the City of Tampa.
I’ve worked on a variety of projects from this fun spoof of The Office to safety PSAs, anti-litter campaigns, day-of coverage, Instagram reels/tiktok creation and more.
